Wire Mesh Filter Discs

Stainless Steel filter discs are mainly used for filtration in the pressure filter,diesel engines,chemical fiber and plastic extruder,(extruder filter mesh)
textile dope filtration,water,food stuff,mine and other industries,with various shapes,such as rectangle,ring,round,oval,polygon and the irregular shape,etc.

Application: Plastic, rubber, chemical fiber, hot melt adhesive.

We can supply wire mesh filter discs made of woven wire mesh in single layer or multi-layer. Double layer or three layers can be classified into round/circular, square, rectangle, kidney shape, oval and other special shapes.

Materials of wire mesh filter discs: plain weave stainless steel wire mesh/low carbon steel wire cloth or twill weave stainless steel wire cloth, plain Dutch weave stainless steel mesh/black wire cloth,twill Dutch weave stainless steel filter cloth,copper/brass/bronze wire mesh, sintered wire mesh etc.

Diameter of wire mesh filter discs: From 5mm to 1000mm.

Many standard dies in stock (i.e. Circles - 1" Diameter), however, we have a fully equipped machine shop to build tooling for customer specific needs.

Filtration rate of wire mesh filter discs: From 10 mesh to 3500 mesh.

Applications of wire mesh filter discs: Mainly used in the absorption, evaporation and filtration process in petroleum, chemical, medicine, metallurgy, machinery, ship and automobiles to purge the mist drop or liquid foam or used as air filter in cars and trucks.

In addition to being handy as samples, these wire mesh filter discs can also be used as inline filters, inside pipes, tubes, ducts and can often be used as replacement parts. Wire mesh filter discs can be supplied in a wide range of diameters, or utilizing our waterjet cutting capabilities, they can be cut to larger sizes.

Disc Stamping

The most economical method for fabricating precise discs and simple flat shapes is the process of stamping ("blanking"). Most of our mesh discs are cut from rolls of wire mesh with readily available punch and die sets.

We can produce inexpensive "short-run" tooling for small quantity items or for large quantity parts we can furnish high production solid tooling.

Wire Mesh discs can be used as inline filters, inside pipes, tubes, ducts, and a wide range of other filtration applications. Discs can be supplied in a wide range of diameters, and utilizing other cutting methods they can be cut to fairly large sizes.
